My school year has ended, and I am utterly burnt out. Animation really chews you up and spits you out, and yet, somehow...I keep coming back to it. I would love to say that the end of the semester means I'll update lots of comics and do some new cartoony work and animations, but, actually, I'm jumping ship for now. Rather than taking any sort of break between school and ...more school...I'm off to Italy for a few months to study painting. (and my Sweetie is off to direct traffic and dig holes for months on end, boo hoo hoo)

I should be back some time in June, and then I'll be full-time at the art store again, for those of you who are local and already know where to find me 90% of the time. This summer, I'll also be running the children's camp, and teaching a few separate classes (keep an eye out for our new traditional manga techniques course!)

So, odds are good there won't be any updates until then. Hopefully I'll have an exciting carnet du voyage (Kearney du voyage....?) when I return.
