I'm totally plugging here, so feel free to ignore it.

Anyway, I've made a last-minute entry to an Art Showing called PLAY opening this friday at the Common Grounds Gallery, which will be on display until early November, at which time it's moving to the Lebel Gallery.

The theme is childhood nostalgia and shared popular culture. It's art, but it's also an homage to cartoons, video games and sugary cereals. Some really fantastic artists are displaying work, namely, Joe Berube (joeberube.com) and Rory O'Connor (designed the Dieppe war monument). I've seen a lot of stuff that's going up, and i really have to say, it's fantastic.

I won;t spil anything by uploading my project, suffice to say, it's ironic in it's lack of irony. It's mighty. Anyway! If you live in Ontario or Detroit, please make the trek out to our opeing night, grab some goodies, see some films, listen to music in the sensory-pails and see some enthusiastic art!

Those things terrifiied me. I put on the one that had scary child molestation, and then couldnt put any of the opther ones on because it scared me. T_T

But I did love the soundtrack quite a lot. *clap clap*
